THE LION OF CAMELOT

Arthur shared power, and constructed a Round Table of equals, heralded throughout history. King Arthur united the isle of Britain and ruled benevolently. All was peace and prosperity until his wife Guinevere committed an act of infidelity with Arthur’s chief knight, Sir Lancelot. Arthur languished in a depression until the return of the ever questing Sir Galahad, son of sir Lancelot, like Arthur also born of an act of deception, for a woman was disguised as Guinevere, for Lancelot would not betray his love for his queen for not one instant.

Arthur’s half sister Morgana la Faye, with whom he mistakenly sired a son, Mordred, was responsible for the sorcery involved. Sir Galahad searched far and wide for the Holy Grail, the cup Christ Jesus used in His Last Supper. When Arthur drank of this cup it rejuvenated his vitality, enough to protect the realm from the rise of the wicked Mordred, his illegitimate son born of incest. This noble act however, ended the great King’s life, his fabled sword thrown back to the Lady of The Lake, that mysterious entity who had first bequeathed the blade unto Arthur, by Sir Percival.
