Queen Guinevere has been nominated to direct Camelot through the storms of history, and she realizes the destruction of Zorgar, a cunning and mighty villainous Viking, is of the utmost necessity. Varnell is a bard, mentored by none other than the most-famed magician Merlin. Varnell is a scholar, and will be looked to for navigation.

Shane is a newly risen knight from the woodsmen class, little more than a free born peasant who might live from the fruits of the land, or help nearby farmers for additional income. Through his skill, courage, and loyalty, Shane has ascended the ranks via the hardest possible means: by his deeds. The woodsmen may be less educated, but perhaps he is heartier and wilier than those raised in the comforts of court.

Lastly is Elias, stolid and reserved, but brave and faithful, both to God and his friends, he is another stout sword arm to compliment his companion Martain. Will these friends survive the trials that are to come, and will they be able to eradicate the Viking menace? Can Camelot achieve stability with a barren Queen upon the throne? Must not another rise to take her place?
